What You Should Already Know

Your boat(s) can stay in Langkawi for unlimited period of time. However, if you decide to leave your boat for a long period of time make sure to leave your contact details with a reliable contact person(s). So, in case of anything regarding your boat you can be contacted easily.

Except Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nigeria; there is no Malaysia Visa Requirements for Commonwealth countries citizens and British protected persons or citizens of the Republic of Ireland and citizens of Switzerland, The Netherlands, San Marino and Liechtenstein.

So if you are the citizen of one of the country exempted for Malaysian Visa entry requirement, you should automatically get 90 DAYS of stay in Langkawi / Malaysia. As a piece of a friendly advise; ensure to note the date when your 90 days ended and to be safe; check out of the country at least 3 days before the 90 days ends then you will do just fine …
